Meet the Providers


Leticia Peltzer, MD
Otolaryngologist - Head Neck Surgeon
Dr. Peltzer attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Her internship/residency were completed at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Additionally, Dr. Peltzer has a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas/Callier Center for Communication Disorders, and worked in that field for four years before attending medical school. Her undergraduate degree was earned from the University of Texas at Austin. She moved to Southwest Virginia in 2006, after practicing in Houston, Texas for six years, where she started her medical practice in 1999. Dr. Peltzer is affiliated with Johnston Memorial Hospital and Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center as a Board certified Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon. She also performs surgeries at Johnston Memorial Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center (at The Campus in Abingdon), Sapling Grove Surgery Center, and Bristol Surgery Center. She enjoys serving the Southwest Virginia Community.


Kelsie Addison, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Kelsie Addison is a Physician Assistant from Washington County, VA. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science from Liberty University, she worked as a medical assistant with this practice, growing her passion for ENT. Kelsie then attended Emory & Henry College School of Health Sciences to obtain a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of family and friends, exploring outdoors, and attempting new recipes.

Amanda Shortridge, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Amanda was born and raised in Bristol, TN. She is currently practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked with Dr. Peltzer since 2008 in various roles while obtaining her RN/NP education from East Tennessee State University. After obtaining her BSN-RN, she continued working with the ENT practice and also began working as a Registered Nurse in the OR setting at Johnston Memorial Hospital and returned to ETSU for her Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N) degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration. Amanda finds joy in caring for others and is blessed to provide care for our patients. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of family and friends, gardening, traveling and attempting new recipes.





Kaylan Salyers, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Kaylan was born and raised in Abingdon, VA. Graduated from Abingdon High School and Virginia Highlands Community College with Associates degree in General Studies, Science and Science in Nursing. Kaylan also has degrees from East Tennessee State University in Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in Legal Studies, Bachelor's in Nursing Science and Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner. Kaylan enjoys serving the Abingdon/Tri-cities community. Outside of work, Kaylan enjoys spending time with close family and friends; outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and kayaking; and cooking for family.
